The Owner, Creator

Let me introduce myself! I am Moneca, a former quality assurance professional currently doing the most challenging yet rewarding vocation to date.  A homemaker and stay-at-home Mom.  Our family relocated in early 2020 to Metro-Atlanta. You know what followed. The combination put a slight damper on meeting people and getting out with little one. Like many during the pandemic, I searched for a creative outlet. I stumbled across candle making and have since been intrigued with the science and quality control aspect of making them. From there I delved into concrete as possible candle vessels. Which turned into concrete planters. I continue experimenting with different mediums and techniques. 

Torch and Loon LLC was launched in 2022. No time is better then now. 

 

Story Behind The Name

Torch is a unique way to indicate and capture our upcoming candle line.

Loon is to pay homage to a loved one. 

 

Growing up it was always a treat to hear the call of the Loon. Loons are such unique birds. There calls are almost memorizing and occur at the most peaceful times.
